Sitiveni Rabuka, the leader of the People’s Alliance Party, announced that General Secretary Usaia Waqatairewa is stepping down from his role. Rabuka pointed to Waqatairewa’s lack of effectiveness in his duties as a party official and expressed his intention to seek Waqatairewa’s removal at the upcoming Management Board Committee Meeting.
