Senior Woman in Court Over Shocking Drug Raid

A woman in her 60s appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges related to the possession of illegal drugs. She was charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit substances. According to police, a raid by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine, as well as dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been adjourned for further mention later today.
