The Kadavu Stallions women’s rugby team is excitedly gearing up for the Fiji Bitter Nahehevia 7s competition, which commences today at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. The tournament features six women’s teams, including strong competitors such as Blue Gas Lilian Amazon, NNN Terrigal, Wardens Gold, Tuva, Freshet Navy, alongside the Stallions.

Team manager Paulina Ratuwara expressed strong confidence in her squad, emphasizing their commitment showcased through rigorous training sessions after work and on weekends. “The players have demonstrated remarkable determination and dedication to hone their skills and enhance their performance in this competition,” Ratuwara noted.

As the Fiji Bitter series enters its final four rounds, the Kadavu Stallions are focused on finishing strong and earning the rewards of their unwavering dedication over the season. Ratuwara added, “We’ve had a great Fiji Bitter series, learning and improving significantly in our gameplay.”

Facing tough opponents in their pool, including Lilian Amazon and NNN Terrigal, the Stallions remain resolute and prepared to put their training into action. Ratuwara stated, “We recognize the challenge ahead in our pool matches, but we’ve trained diligently, and we’re ready to show our results on the field.”
