The Rewa Medical Sub-Division team conducted an HIV awareness session during the Tailevu Men’s Volleyball Tournament held at Nausori Primary School, effectively reaching out to both participants and spectators about the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention and testing.
During this engaging session, a total of 80 individuals chose to undergo voluntary HIV/AIDS blood tests, reflecting an encouraging increase in public awareness regarding the significance of understanding one’s health status.
The Ministry of Health & Medical Services has reiterated their call for the community to take the initiative to get tested, stressing that individuals should not allow stigma or fear to hinder them from managing their health proactively.
