Students at Naqara Primary School in Naqara Village, Ono, Kadavu, received essential classroom furniture, including desks and chairs, yesterday. The school, which serves a roll of 50 students, has faced challenges due to insufficient furniture, affecting the learning experience.

During the furniture handover, Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Sakiusa Tubuna, emphasized that the new furniture would greatly enhance the students’ academic performance. He also took time to tour the school’s facilities and engage in direct discussions with the local villagers.

This initiative reflects a commitment to improving educational resources and fostering better learning environments for students, which is crucial for their development. It is encouraging to see such support directed towards enhancing education in rural communities, paving the way for brighter futures for these young learners.

In summary, this event underscores the importance of adequate educational infrastructure and community engagement in ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed academically.
