Fiji Weather Forecast: Afternoon Showers and Thunderstorms with Heavy Falls in Sigatoka, Navua–Suva–Nausori, Kadavu; Mostly Fine Elsewhere; Thursday Outlook Includes Isolated Showers on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu

Get ready to whip out your umbrellas and raincoats, folks! The weather for Fiji is all set to play its own game of peek-a-boo. As we roll into Wednesday, expect a splendid start with plenty of sunshine, but don’t get too cozy. Afternoon and evening showers will crash the party, along with a chance of thunderstorms trying to make a grand entrance, particularly over Sigatoka-Korolevu, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and the nearby smaller islands. They just love making it rain on parade!

For the rest of our beautiful islands, it’s mainly fine weather – yes, you heard right, mainly fine! Just a sprinkle of something odd here and there. Northeasterly to northwesterly winds are visiting, along with moderate seas that might occasionally feel like they’re on the verge of a dance off.

Looking ahead to Thursday, the sun will still be shining on most places, but watch out! The isolated afternoon or evening showers and a few thunderous claps are ready to shake things up on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Keep those rain boots handy as isolated heavy falls are on the forecast for thunderstorms doing a solo act.

Here are a few specifics to remember:

For Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Expect fine weather… until Mother Nature decides to spice things up with showers and thunderstorms. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Natadradave and Korovou: Same story! Nice and sunny, but don’t be surprised by a surprise shower. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Sigatoka and the Coral Coast: Mostly sunny until those pesky showers join in on the fun. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: Mainly fine and dandy. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Tavua and Rakiraki: Mainly fine, can you believe it? Min: 25, Max: 33.

Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Fine weather that looks like it wants to stay for a while. Min: 25, Max: 32.

Labasa: Just like the neighbors, mainly fine! Min: 25, Max: 33.

Savusavu: Looks great for now, but those showers have other plans. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Nabouwalu: Sunshine is in the forecast, with an unexpected sprinkle later. Min: 25, Max: 33.

Taveuni and the Lau/Lomaiviti group: Mainly fine weather awaits you! Min: 25, Max: 31.

Kadavu: Sunshine, but don’t forget your umbrella for the afternoon thunderstorms. Min: 25, Max: 32.

And for Rotuma: It’s a bit cloudy with some brief showers, like that friend who never knows when to leave a party. Don’t leave the house without your windbreaker! Min: 25, Max: 31.

As you prepare for your day, remember that even though the forecast suggests mostly fine weather, the elements are always up for a little surprise! Happy weather watching!
