Team Fiji had a successful opening day at the Pacific Mini Games in Koror, Palau, securing three medals in various events. Fiji Va’a coach Stanley Ooms expressed his pride in the athletes’ performances, highlighting the tough competition they faced. “I’m happy for all our athletes that got on to the podium,” he remarked, adding that the team will now shift focus to the upcoming races, including the 500m V6 men’s, women’s, and mixed events.
