Fiji secured a narrow victory over Great Britain, winning 17-12 in the critical pool match of the Cape Town 7s. This triumph sets them up for a semifinal clash against France, scheduled for early tomorrow.

In the first half, Fiji took an early advantage with tries from Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Joji Nasova, leading 10-0 at the break. However, Great Britain came out aggressively in the second half, scoring two tries and a conversion to pull ahead 12-10.
