The Fiji Police Force has stated that there were no incidents of a stabbing reported at Albert Park during last night’s concert. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, mentioned that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the concert concluded, and no stabbing was reported up until this morning.
He explained that a social media post regarding the alleged incident circulated, prompting police officers at the event to investigate. They confirmed that no stabbing occurred and that there was no need for police intervention.
The public is encouraged to report any incidents directly to the police for proper investigation, as false claims can cause unnecessary panic.
