The Crest Fiji men’s netball team has made a significant achievement by winning the Men’s Nations Series in Singapore, marking a milestone as their first international tournament victory. In a thrilling final, Fiji exhibited remarkable resilience by overturning a previous defeat against the Australia Under-23 team, clinching the match with a narrow score of 55-54 at the Jurong East Sporting Complex.
Throughout the tournament, Fiji showcased their skill and determination. They began the pool stage with a solid win against the England Trailblazers, scoring 47-36. They continued their success with a convincing 57-38 victory over New Zealand and dominated the hosts with a remarkable 62-27 performance. Concluding the pool rounds on a high note, they achieved an overwhelming 82-20 victory over Hong Kong. In the semifinals, Fiji maintained their momentum by defeating England again with a score of 62-27, ensuring their place in the final.
