Transitioning from a 15s rugby background, Nailolo and Fisher have quickly adapted to the fast-paced nature of the sevens format, demonstrating remarkable skill and determination. Walker noted their strong performances at the Coral Coast 7s, with Nailolo excelling in ball carrying and maintaining her presence on the field. Fisher also stood out for her impressive contributions at the ruck, showcasing her defensive capabilities and attacking flair, reinforcing her reputation as a talented player.
At just a young age, Fisher’s experience as the youngest-ever captain of the Fijiana XV team adds valuable leadership to the squad. While she continues to adjust to this new rugby format, both players have been warmly welcomed by their teammates.
