Police Blue triumphed in the Fiji Bitter Savusavu 7s championship today, securing a decisive 22-5 victory over Kava Vacalea at Ganilau Park.

Head coach Samu Bola attributed the success to divine guidance, emphasizing that the team’s achievements were rooted in faith and unity. He had encouraged his players to treat every match as if it were a final, a strategy that evidently yielded positive results throughout the competition.

Bola commended the Kava Vacalea team for their formidable performance and strong competition, acknowledging the effort they brought to the game. “We also want to dedicate the win to all their fellow officers around the country who are currently in the field serving the public. The boys worked very hard for this win and they did it for you,” he remarked.

In his reflections, Bola also highlighted the vital role of the players’ families, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support during the tournament. This victory not only represents a significant milestone for Police Blue but also reinforces the spirit of teamwork, determination, and community support that is integral to the sport and its players.
