The government’s pilot National Baiting Programme has successfully treated over 700 properties in high-risk areas for termite infestations using eco-friendly bait stations. Assistant Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Sakiusa Tubuna, reported to Parliament that substantial funds have been directed towards combating termite issues, particularly in the Western Division, where many homes have suffered damage.
