Dramatic Draw: Ba Fights Back Twice Against Navua in Thrilling Clash

Ba made a comeback twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Navua in Round 13 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Simione Damuni put Navua ahead early on, but Ba’s young player Penaia Nagatalevu quickly equalized. Midfielder Rahul Krishna then increased Navua’s lead midway through the first half, but Ba responded with a penalty from Mohammed Raheem, leveling the score just before halftime.

The second half saw no goals, but the match became tense, leading to red cards for Ba players Rahul Naresh and Ilaisa Nayasi due to frustration.

Following this outcome, Rooster Chicken Ba drops to fifth place with 19 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua remains in sixth place with 18 points.
