This Friday, the stunning Miss Cakaudrove Youth title will be awarded at Narain Park in Savusavu, featuring a one-of-a-kind crown adorned with 59 pearls. The event is part of the Cakaudrove Multi-Ethnic Youth and Sports Festival, which has drawn an impressive lineup of 14 contestants from various districts, including a participant from Rabi Island and another representing Kailoma.

The festivities kick off today with a parade starting at 10 am, moving from the Savusavu Court House to Narain Park. The crowning ceremony will take place on Friday at 7 pm, with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka slated as the chief guest.

Aubrey Whippy, the carnival coordinator, expressed gratitude towards J Hunter Pearls for their craftsmanship in creating the exquisite crown and Shane Bower, who has generously donated the crown for the Miss Charity competition. The full day and night program spans four days, and entry to the park is free, as this marks the inaugural event organized by the Cakaudrove Youth Provincial Council.

Importantly, the funds raised during the festival will be dedicated to the development of youth in the Cakaudrove region, highlighting the event’s commitment to community growth and empowerment.
