BSP Financial Group (Fiji) Pte Limited has recently completed renovations at the Valelevu HART nursing home, underscoring its commitment to community support. The project saw the Corporate & Business Banking team at BSP come together, with staff volunteers dedicating their time to enhance the facility.
According to BSP General Manager for Corporate & Business Banking, Mr. Maikash Ali, the initiative reflects one of the bank’s core values: caring for the community. He emphasized the importance of such projects, stating, “Every year, we dedicate funds for staff-led projects like these, where our staff actively volunteer their time and effort to work on projects that make a real difference to our community.”
The renovation involved substantial improvements to an entire wing of the nursing home, including new tiling, fresh paint, and repairs to broken amenities. Mr. Ali remarked on the significance of providing a safe and comfortable environment for the residents, many of whom have previously contributed to the nation’s development. He expressed pride in the role BSP played in enhancing the residents’ quality of life during their later years.
