The Waratahs have announced an unchanged starting line-up for their second round match in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, set to take place at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on Friday night. The only adjustment to the squad of 23 is Ioane Moananu, who has been named as the replacement hooker and will make his Super Rugby Pacific debut if he steps onto the field.

Both the Waratahs and the Drua excelled in offloads during round one, each registering 11, showcasing a strong attacking strategy that contributed to the Waratahs’ impressive 36-12 victory over the Reds. The front row consists of Tom Lambert, Ethan Dobbins, and Daniel Botha, who have all been retained for this match.

Captain Matt Philip will again lead the team from the lock position, partnered by Miles Amatosero. Clem Halaholo, who made his debut last week, remains at blindside flanker, with familiar faces Charlie Gamble at openside and Pete Samu completing the back row. The experienced Jake Gordon, who has 37 caps for the Wallabies, joins Lawson Creighton in the halfback positions. The centres will be occupied by Joey Walton and Joseph Suaalii, while Max Jorgensen retains his spot on the left wing alongside fellow debutants from last week, Harry Potter and James Hendren.

The Waratahs will look to build on their strong start when they face the Drua at 8:35 PM on Friday, with the match available to watch live on FBC Sports. Fans are eager to see if the Waratahs can maintain their momentum and continue their successful run in the tournament.
