Raiwaqa Police are set to engage with the children featured in a viral video that depicted them harassing a family in the Wailea Settlement area. These discussions will occur in the presence of the children’s parents, as the police seek to address the concerning behavior exhibited in the footage.

Following the viral incident, law enforcement officials have made inquiries and reached out to the complainant, confirming that the children involved reside in the same community and have been identified. The complainant reported that the children were trying to remove a beehive located near his back window. Upon requesting them to leave his property, he subsequently informed the police that he prefers not to escalate the matter further and merely seeks a warning issued to the children against returning to his premises.

The Fiji Police Force has taken this opportunity to encourage parents and guardians to discuss the importance of respecting neighbors and elders with their children. They emphasized the necessity of continued guidance regarding the consequences of inappropriate behavior. Moreover, police officials highlighted that community cooperation and parental involvement are crucial in preventing similar incidents in the future, promoting a safer and more respectful environment for everyone involved.
