Current estimates from the National Disaster Management Office suggest it may take up to two years for the CBD to return to pre-disaster normalcy.

The Vanuatu Ministry of Education estimates that over $8 million will be required to rebuild 45 damaged schools, including a significant amount for Malapoa College alone.
