A man in his forties tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident in Navaga, located in Navosa. The incident, as reported by Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, occurred yesterday morning after 10 am.
The victim was driving a truck loaded with gravel when he reportedly lost control while descending a hill, leading the vehicle to veer off the road and crash. Unfortunately, he died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.
In a broader context, the national road death toll currently stands at 60 this year, which is a decrease compared to 74 fatalities reported during the same period last year.
