Tragic Discovery: Elderly Couple Found Dead in Labasa

Police report that an elderly couple in their 70s, found deceased in Labasa, is suspected to have taken their own lives. According to Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro, the circumstances surrounding their deaths and the reasons for their actions are currently under investigation. Naisoro indicated that the Labasa Crime unit has classified the case as one of interest, given that the couple was discovered outside their home. Additionally, post-mortem examinations will help ascertain the cause of death as the investigation progresses. The tragic incident took place last Tuesday.
