Samoa returned to winning form in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup, defeating Tonga 43-17 in their second match at Apia Park today.

After suffering a heavy 42-16 defeat to Fiji last week in Suva, Samoa quickly turned things around at home with a significantly improved performance, showcasing strong discipline and commitment from the players during the tough match.

The Samoan team led 17-0 at halftime and continued to assert their dominance in the second half, despite Tonga’s attempts to score.

Samoa will now await the outcome of the Fiji-Tonga match next week to determine their qualification for the Pacific Nations Cup semifinals.
