The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua were held to a single scoring source as they went down 6-21 to the Queensland Reds in round six of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Monday, March 2.

Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula kicked two penalty goals in the first half to account for all six points for the Drua, while the Reds crossed for three tries, each successfully converted, to build their 21-point total. The three converted tries proved the difference as the home side could not breach the Reds’ defence for a try of their own.

The loss at Churchill Park leaves the Drua with questions to answer about their attacking execution; their scoreboard was limited to penalty kicks despite home advantage. Armstrong-Ravula’s first-half boot kept the hosts in touch early, but Queensland’s ability to convert try-scoring opportunities ultimately decided the contest.

For the Reds, the clinical finishing that produced three converted tries underlined a composed performance on the road. The 21-point haul away from home will be a boost to their Super Rugby Pacific campaign, while the Drua must regroup quickly after failing to register a try in front of their Lautoka supporters.

The Drua now turn their attention to a tough assignment next weekend, travelling to Auckland to face the Blues at Eden Park on March 9. Eden Park has long been one of the competition’s most demanding venues, and the Drua will be seeking to find the tryline and build momentum before the season progresses further.

This result is the latest development in the early rounds of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season. With the competition still in its opening phases, the Drua will be eager to address their scoring drought and convert possession into points when they meet the Blues in a week’s time.
