Record-Breaking Turnout at Fiji Showcase 2024

Broadcasting company Communications Fiji Ltd (CFL) achieved record attendance for the Fiji Showcase 2024 after a seven-year span.

Despite challenging weather conditions, a significant number of people attended the week-long event held at the Vodafone Arena in Laucala Bay from July 5 to July 13.

CFL’s general manager, Charles Taylor, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and aims for an even bigger and better event in 2025.

“We had a well-executed plan and a great show featuring local entertainers on two stages, thanks to sponsorship from Vodafone and Goodman Fielder. Additionally, we had international acts, including Piva, the Brazilian juggler, who was a major attraction,” Mr. Taylor said.

“This year’s event was larger, featuring 104 booths and about 17 booth stalls, ensuring that everyone who attended the Fiji Showcase had an enjoyable experience.

“Thank you to our listeners, online users, clients, and the CFL team for their collective effort in making this event successful.

“We will strive to make next year’s showcase even bigger and better and look forward to seeing everyone there.”
