The pool draw for the fourth round of the global sevens circuit has been carried out by former England international Danny Care, illuminating a series of exciting match-ups as the tournament resumes in Australia this weekend.

Defending champions Fiji Airways Men’s Sevens lead Pool A, facing fierce competition from South Africa, Spain, and Argentina. In Pool B, runners-up France will encounter a tough test against New Zealand, host nation Australia, and Great Britain.

The women’s competition is equally thrilling, with Singapore champions New Zealand competing in Pool A against the USA, Fiji, and Japan. Beaten finalists Australia, looking to bounce back, are set to clash with Canada, France, and Great Britain in Pool B.

As fans fill the stands, high-energy rivalries and essential series points hang in balance, all eyes will be on Perth as the top sevens teams gear up for another crucial round of the HSBC SVNS Series. Presently, Fiji’s men lead the standings with 52 points, trailed by New Zealand at 48 points and South Africa in third with 46 points. Meanwhile, the Fiji women’s team is currently ranked seventh with 32 points.

The Perth 7s will kick off this Saturday and conclude on Sunday at HBF Park, with live coverage of Fiji’s matches available on FBC TV. The atmosphere promises to be electric as the best teams in the world compete for glory.
