Nadi’s New Coach Sparks Victory Ahead of Championship Showdown

Coach Raj Dayal from Canada arrived in the country over the weekend to prepare the Nadi team for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship, which will take place at Churchill Park in Lautoka this month. His initial responsibility involved leading the Jetsetters in their final match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League season against Suva, where he achieved immediate success with a 2-1 victory. This win allowed Nadi to conclude their campaign with 25 points, securing a sixth-place finish. Dayal will collaborate with Varoon Karan to coach the Green Machine, which is set to compete in Group B alongside champions Ba, League winners Rewa, and Nadroga. The IDC is scheduled for October 15-20.
