US actor Michael B. Jordan achieved a remarkable victory at the Actor Awards, which were previously known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, enhancing his momentum as the Oscars approach. He was awarded Best Actor for his performance in the vampire horror film “Sinners,” which also clinched the prestigious title of Best Ensemble Cast.
In an emotional acceptance speech, Jordan expressed his surprise, stating, “I don’t even know where to begin, I wasn’t expecting this at all.” He added that he felt “so honoured and privileged” to receive a nomination.

During his speech, Jordan paid homage to his mother, Donna, who has been a consistent source of support throughout his career, often accompanying him to events. He recalled their struggles as he thanked her for being there during challenging times, saying, “Mom, thank you for driving me back and forth to New York when we didn’t have enough money to go through the Harlem tunnel.”
