MHCC Complex in Suva has proudly celebrated its 17th anniversary, marking a milestone as the first of its kind in Fiji. Speaking to FijiOne News, Kunaseelan Sabaratnam, the Director of Carpenters Finance, highlighted the complex’s unique position as a one-stop shopping destination that offers everything from groceries to fashion under one roof.

Reflecting on the significance of this anniversary, Sabaratnam emphasized MHCC’s role in supporting small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country. He noted that the complex has provided a vital platform for budding entrepreneurs to start their businesses without the burden of securing a full shop lot, showcasing a range of small pushcarts as examples of this initiative.

Looking ahead, Sabaratnam revealed exciting plans for the complex, including ongoing renovations and the introduction of a new tower. He expressed optimism that these changes will attract even more visitors, with expectations set for early March.

Since its inception in 2007, MHCC has not only served as a shopping hub but has also contributed significantly to the employment landscape in Fiji. The complex continues to thrive as a key player in both the retail sector and the local economy.

Overall, MHCC Complex stands as a symbol of resilience and innovation, positively impacting the community by fostering entrepreneurship and providing a diverse shopping experience for all Fijians. As it continues to grow and evolve, there is much to look forward to in the future.

This celebration not only marks the past accomplishments of MHCC but also serves as an inspiring reminder of the potential for successful business endeavors in Fiji, encouraging more local entrepreneurship.
