Police have identified Joe Setareki, commonly known as Dice, as the suspect in the stabbing of a soldier’s son in Raiwaqa that occurred two months ago. Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew reported that Setareki has been evading capture since the incident.
Authorities have been actively searching for him, executing raids at potential hideouts, but so far, these efforts have not yielded any results. The cause of the stabbing remains unclear, but the police believe it may be an act of random violence. The motive for the attack will be investigated once the suspect is apprehended.
The police are urging the public to assist in the search for Setareki. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 919 or the Southern Division Command Center at 9905295 or 9905529.
