In his remarks, the minister congratulated those who excelled in these fields throughout the year, highlighting the privilege of his role as minister. He acknowledged the contributions of grant recipients and expressed confidence that they would appreciate the ministry’s efforts in 2023. “We look forward to another fruitful year ahead in 2025,” he stated.

Saukuru emphasized the government’s dedication to youth welfare as a priority. He noted that a key aim is to ensure that all young Fijians are treated fairly as part of an inclusive policy that respects diversity in ethnicity, social background, and religious beliefs.

The optimism surrounding the ministry’s endeavors and the commitment to youth welfare reflects a positive trajectory for Fiji’s future, fostering unity and support for the nation’s youth.
