Weather Update
Greetings from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi! We’ve got a slightly soggy forecast for some but don’t worry, the sunshine will still get its chance to shine.
Tonight, our beautiful Fiji group will be primarily basking in fine weather, though Nadroga-Navosa, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri-Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, and Southern Bua don’t seem to have gotten that memo—expect a sprinkle of brief showers. And let’s not forget our friends in Kadavu, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups; they’ll probably get a surprise modeling session from Mother Nature too!
For those who like to enjoy their evenings wrapped in a cozy blanket? Good news! It’s going to be a cool night out there.
South to southeast winds will be blowing at a moderate to fresh pace, giving us the perfect excuse to blame any bad hair days on the wind. The seas could be feeling a bit feisty, so consider it a gentle reminder that not everything in life is calm.
Tuesday’s looking rather promising! Expect quite a bit of sunshine with only a few skittish showers creeping into Sigatoka, Navua, Suva-Nausori, and the ever-popular provincial group mentioned earlier. The rest of the places across the islands will do just fine, thank you very much. And yes, it will still be cool at night, so you might want to keep that hot chocolate on standby!
Now, for specific spots:
– For Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Mainly fine with nights cool enough to wonder why you ever complained about the heat.
– Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Expect a sprinkle of beauty with just a touch of rain—short-lived, of course.
– Over in Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: Fine weather reigns supreme, with cool evenings keeping you on your toes.
– For Tavua and Rakiraki: Rakiraki might steal the spotlight with a brief shower, but don’t worry—it’s still all smiley skies elsewhere.
– Natadradave/Korovou: Rain may drop by for a chat, but cool nights are on the agenda.
– Yasawa/Mamanuca group, Labasa, and Savusavu are mostly fine, with a bit of coolness for good measure.
– Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu: They’ll be enjoying a bit of day-time sunshine but keep an eye out for short-lived showers.
– And lastly, for Rotuma: a bit cloudier, with some showers and the possibility of thunderstorms, but remember—there’s no cloudy day that can’t be brightened with a little laughter!
In essence, grab those umbrellas only if you live in the shower-prone areas and don’t step out without that cozy sweater at night! And as always, keep your spirits high with some Fiji sunshine!
