Here’s your weather forecast leading up to midnight tomorrow for the fabulous Fiji group:
Get ready for a bit of cloud action! Expect to see some cloudy periods with a sprinkle of showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and their tropical cousins nearby, as well as the Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Isolated heavy showers might decide to crash the party, so keep your umbrellas handy.
If you’re somewhere else, like say, basking under the sun, you might get a hit or miss with some isolated afternoon showers. Overall, it’s pretty fine! And do remember, it gets cool at night, so perhaps snuggle up under a blanket with your favorite drink.
We’ve got moderate to fresh southeast winds blowing in to give you a playful breeze and moderate to rough seas, making it a perfect time for a scenic boat ride… as long as you’re up for a little adventure!
Outlook for Friday: Hold onto your hats! Expect southeast winds roaring up to 45 km/hr over the land of Yasawa, Kadavu, and their nearby buddies, along with Taveuni and the Lau and Lomaiviti crews. Keep an eye out for more cloudy periods with some showers making an encore performance. The cool nights will ensure you don’t start sweating after sunset!
For the specific spots:
Navua / Suva / Nausori: A cloudy affair with some showers trying to steal the spotlight. Isolated heavy downpours might also make a surprise entrance. Don’t forget, it gets cool at night!
Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Fine weather is on the menu, only disturbed by the occasional afternoon shower. Nights will be refreshingly cool.
Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Fine conditions reign supreme, apart from a possible rogue afternoon shower. Nights, as always, will be cool.
Tavua/Rakiraki: Fine and dandy with some afternoon showers lurking around. Enjoy those cool nights!
Natadradave/Korovou: Clouds and showers will be your companions. Remember, it’s cool at night!
Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Fine weather reigns, except for some possible afternoon shower surprises. Expect southeast winds up to 40 km/hr. Cool nights are mandatory!
Labasa: Just like a well-turned page, we have fine weather with random afternoon showers popping up. And, of course, cooler nights!
Savusavu: Here come the clouds and showers yet again. Enjoy those cool nights!
Lau/ Lomaiviti: You guessed it—more clouds and showers ahead. Cool nights to match!
Kadavu: Southeast winds will dance their way to you at about 40 km/hr. Cloudy times with showers mean cool nights are on the agenda!
Rotuma: There’s a low-pressure trough throwing a bit of shade over you! Expect a fair share of cloud drama and scattered showers, plus the thrill of isolated thunderstorms! Winds will be moderate and seas will be moderate, so seize the day, but keep an eye on the horizon.
Outlook for Friday: More showers, perhaps with some thunder for those who like their weather with a bit of drama!
