Situation: A weak trough of low pressure sits slowly drifting just east of Fiji, while a south to southeast wind flow continues to sweep over the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with some showers scattered over the Mamanuca group, Sigatoka-Korolevu, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, as well as Lau and Lomaiviti. Showers ease to brief ones by tomorrow. Apart from these, expect fine conditions with isolated brief afternoon or evening showers elsewhere. It will be cool at night with moderate south to southeast winds and moderate seas.

Outlook for Sunday: Cloudy periods with some showers mainly over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Mainly fine elsewhere. Cool at night.
