Dhirendra Nand, president of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha, has called upon Sanatan followers throughout the nation to embrace unity as they welcome the year 2026. He emphasized the importance of harmony and collaboration in bolstering faith institutions and fostering positive contributions to society.

Nand articulated that the teachings of Sanatan Dharm reflect the belief that humanity constitutes one family. He advocated for unity rooted in mutual respect and understanding, rather than mere uniformity. “By placing Dharm above division, communities can collaborate more effectively and enhance their services to Fiji,” he stated.

As part of his New Year’s message, Nand encouraged students and young families to approach the new year with discipline and determination. He underscored education as a vital tool for empowerment, asserting that character serves as the foundation for lasting success. He urged young individuals to remain connected to Sanatan values while taking advantage of modern educational opportunities.

Nand further highlighted the pivotal role that young families play in safeguarding cultural heritage and shaping future generations. He stressed the importance of instilling values such as respect, honesty, and service within the home.

In his message, he extended blessings for peace, wisdom, and strength as the new year begins, while also recognizing the efforts made by the Fiji Sanatan Sabha’s National Executive Council, Board of Trustees, branch leaders, volunteers, and supporters. Nand emphasized the Sabha’s ongoing commitment to strengthening unity among its branches nationwide, boosting participation among youth and women, and enhancing programs focused on education, cultural preservation, and religious awareness.

His hopeful call for unity and collaboration resonates as a positive step towards fostering greater community engagement and mutual respect among followers.
