Fiji Pearls Gear Up for PacificAus Netball Series with Exciting Squad Announcement

Fiji Pearls’ interim head coach Jioweli Vakamoce has announced the extended squad for the upcoming PacificAus Sports Netball Series, set to take place from February 17 to 22 at Nissan Arena in Brisbane, Australia. This competitive event will feature a blend of experienced overseas-based players alongside local talent.

Key selections from the overseas contingent include seasoned defender Adi Vakaoca Bolakoro, as well as Kelera Nawai-Caucau and Solei Toganivalu. The squad also showcases promising young local talent, such as 18-year-old Alisi Neisulu, a former student of Adi Cakobau School, and standout shooters Unaisi Rauluni and Maliana Rusivakula, highlighting Fiji’s commitment to nurture its youth in the sport.

The squad is divided into three categories:

Shooters: Nina Nakula, Jimaima Kete, Cilia Lewatu, Maliana Rusivakula, Unaisi Rauluni, Solei Toganivalu.
Mid-court: Anaseini Nauqe, Susana Rasaubale, Joanne Vulaca, Yvonne Nalewabau, Ana Moi, Nicole Kamotu, Alisi Neisulu.
Defenders: Elenoa Gukirewa, Kalesi Tawake, Lowata Natoga, Alisi Naqiri, Shaid Sasalu, Adi Vakaoca Bolakoro, and Kelera Nawai-Caucau.
