Fiji Airports has announced a significant partnership with Australian digital transformation consultancy CG TECH, aimed at implementing a comprehensive corporate digital transformation program. This initiative is set to modernize and enhance the organization’s business systems, focusing on key areas such as finance, human resources, asset management, project management, and safety management.

According to Fiji Airports’ CEO, Mesake Nawari, this transformation is a vital step in fostering long-term growth and ensuring that the airport can remain resilient and efficient in the face of a rapidly changing aviation landscape. Nawari highlighted that this effort aligns with the company’s ten-year strategic plan, emphasizing that the digitalization of systems is expected to yield substantial financial and operational efficiencies.

“The vision of success for us is a fully integrated set of business systems that will streamline finance, procurement, contracts, HR, operations, and project management,” said Nawari. He noted that reliable access to information is crucial for making evidence-based decisions in real-time. Additionally, the program aims to leverage technology, including artificial intelligence, to enhance data analysis capabilities, enabling the executive team to tackle challenges more adeptly and make well-informed decisions.

The digital transformation program envisions the creation of a modern digital workspace where information is efficiently captured, securely managed, and readily accessible. This initiative is designed to refine data analytics processes and establish a high-performance digital platform that will elevate business performance.

Carlos Garcia, CEO of CG TECH, echoed the importance of this project, stating that it is geared toward providing clarity and confidence amidst complex changes. “Our objective is to support leadership teams in making informed decisions, minimizing risk, and advancing through an evolving technological landscape,” Garcia remarked. He emphasized the value of partnerships that focus on effective communication, capability building, and supporting individuals throughout the transformation process.

Garcia concluded by underscoring the necessity of clear governance and robust decision-making in driving large-scale transformations. He expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Fiji Airports’ leadership to lay down a foundation that aligns with both immediate needs and long-term aspirations.

This partnership marks a promising step forward for Fiji Airports as it navigates the future of aviation with enhanced systems that prioritize efficiency and informed decision-making.
