Dreams Have No Age: 72-Year-Old Graduates from University

Divendra Prasad Sharma, a 72-year-old man, celebrated a significant milestone by graduating from university. His aspiration to pursue higher education was sparked during the University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Laucala Campus Orientation week earlier this year. Mr. Sharma has fulfilled a longtime goal by becoming the first in his family of nine siblings to earn a university degree. He was awarded a Certificate IV in Counseling from USP Pacific Technical and Further Education.
