Bua’s head coach Ritesh Chand has stated that his team is determined to secure a win rather than settle for a draw in their Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Tavua. In an interview, Chand highlighted the hard work and dedication that have led the team to this critical moment.
“A lot is at stake. We’ve journeyed all the way from Bua at our own expense, and we are so close to victory. I know the players will give their all; otherwise, all our effort will be in vain,” he remarked.
Chand noted that the team is facing some injury issues, including concerns with their players and goalkeeper. He mentioned that they approached the Fiji Football Association last week to request a change in player registration, but their request was declined.
