Construction of a temporary bypass road aimed at alleviating traffic disruptions due to a road slip at the Armco Crossing, close to the Semo Village junction, is advancing steadily. The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) reported that as of 5:00 a.m. today, the clearing and grubbing of the bypass road is nearly 90% complete.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys carefully, anticipate possible delays, and exercise caution while navigating through the affected area. The FRA has committed to continuing updates as assessments and construction efforts progress, ensuring that the public is informed throughout the process. This proactive approach may help to minimize inconvenience for drivers and restore normal traffic flow more swiftly.
