Two men are set to appear in court tomorrow in connection with the alleged murder of Police Constable 8012 Peniasi Racagi. According to police reports, the suspects, aged 42 and 20, are residents of Qauia in Lami.

The police investigation indicates that these two individuals, along with a third person, are accused of having aided and abetted in inflicting injuries on Constable Racagi, which ultimately led to his death during the period of 21-22 of last month. Both suspects remain in police custody and will be presented at the Suva Magistrates Court.

This tragic incident highlights the ongoing concerns around the safety of law enforcement personnel and the need for justice in the face of such violence. Community support and justice for the fallen officer may serve to strengthen trust in law enforcement as this case unfolds.
