Tovata House has emerged victorious at the Queen Victoria School inter-house athletics competition, claiming the overall title with a remarkable performance. Tovata topped the final medal tally with an impressive collection of 16 gold, 14 silver, and 15 bronze medals, totaling 45 medals.

In a close second, Rewa House secured 12 gold, 20 silver, and 13 bronze medals, also achieving a total of 45 medals but trailing behind Tovata in the gold medal count. Bau House took third place with a strong showing, earning 12 gold, 10 silver, and 11 bronze medals to accumulate a total of 33 medals. Verata House finished fourth, garnering 11 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals for an overall total of 30 medals.

The annual Battle of the Victorians showcased the competitive spirit of students from the four traditional houses, who competed vigorously across various track and field events. The excitement was palpable, fueled by the enthusiastic support of fellow students which created a lively atmosphere throughout the competition.

This event not only highlighted the athletic talents within the school but also served as a crucial preparation ground for athletes gearing up for upcoming zone competitions and the Fiji finals slated for later in the year. The camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed during the meet reflect the positive spirit of the school community and its commitment to nurturing young athletes.
