A tragic accident this morning on Khalsa Road in Suva has claimed the life of a primary school student. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the child was standing at the roadside when a vehicle, driven by a 25-year-old man, struck him.
Ms. Naisoro reported that the victim sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where he was regrettably pronounced dead upon arrival.
