Following their triumphant performance at the Vulaca Championship last week, the Suva Volleyball Association is now gearing up for the anticipated Vanua Challenge, scheduled for March 6 and 7. The Suva Blues showcased their prowess by clinching victory in both the men’s and women’s divisions, successfully defending their championship titles.

Suva Volleyball’s vice president, Semaima Lagilagi, announced that both teams will enjoy a one-week recovery break. This break is intended to provide players with the necessary time to rest and recover before resuming their structured training regimen.

Lagilagi emphasized the importance of discipline and respect as core values for all athletes associated with the association. She stated that these principles not only enhance performance but also foster character, accountability, and a positive representation of Suva Volleyball at all times. “Discipline and respect are non-negotiable for us, and our athletes are expected to uphold these values both on and off the court,” she remarked.

The upcoming Vanua Challenge presents an exciting opportunity for Suva Volleyball to further establish its reputation within the sport and pursue additional victories in the competitive arena.
