Today marks the concluding day of the Ratu Sukuna Bowl, where the RFMF Army Wives fiercely defended their Netball title, triumphing over the Police Wives with a nail-biting score of 25 to 22, held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva. In another highlight, Army Servers 2 achieved a commendable victory against Police Servers 2, finishing the match with a score of 44 to 29.
Team Coach Seini Naigatogato expressed her gratitude towards the senior members who stepped in to guide the squad in retaining their championship. She highlighted the importance of experience in nurturing the next generation of players, encouraging new talent for the upcoming year.
Captain of Army Servers 2, Venina Naigatogato, praised her team for their exceptional teamwork, especially considering the previous year’s loss to the Police Servers.
