Kalaveti Ravouvou, the dynamic center for the Flying Fijians, has officially extended his contract with Bristol Bears. The 26-year-old, who hails from Nadroga, made a significant impact in the Gallagher Premiership after joining the Bears from Fijian Drua during the summer of 2023.
Since joining, Ravouvou has made a remarkable mark on the team, scoring seven tries. His standout performances include impressive back-to-back doubles against Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers. Notably, during a record-setting win against the Tigers last month, he accumulated an extraordinary 230 meters with the ball, marking the second highest in a single Premiership game. In that match, he showcased his talent by beating 10 defenders and taking 18 carries, solidifying his position as one of the league’s top players.
With a total of four caps for the Fijian national team, Ravouvou debuted against Ireland during the 2022 Autumn Nations Series.
