Former national netball representative Vasiti Vugakoto is delighted with the exceptional performance of the girls participating in the New World Suva Netball Association’s weekly games.
This year, her club boasts the highest number of participants, consisting of 17 clubs grouped together under the Lomaiviti club banner, with a total of 220 members.
As president of the Lomaiviti club, Vasiti Vugakoto acknowledges the increasing competitiveness of the competition with each passing year. She points out the introduction of divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, offering young players a clear pathway to move up through the ranks.
“I can see that the games are getting harder every year. We have now added divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, so players can see a clear path to progress. It’s important for us to treat every game like a final,” Vugakoto remarked.
