Over the past two days, three fire incidents have been reported in the Western Division.

The first incident occurred on Wednesday in Etatoko, Ba, where a farmhouse owned by a 42-year-old man was completely destroyed along with its contents. The house was unoccupied at the time.

The second fire was reported yesterday in Qalau, Rakiraki, where a bulk room with farming materials and tools was entirely burned down. The property’s owner resides overseas.

The third incident took place in Natabua, Lautoka, where a double-story home owned by a 70-year-old was partially damaged by fire.

The causes of these fires remain unknown as joint investigations with the National Fire Authority are ongoing.
