The Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has announced that General Secretary Usaia Waqatairewa is resigning from his role. Rabuka has expressed concerns about Waqatairewa’s performance as a Party Official and plans to propose his removal at the upcoming Management Board Committee Meeting. When contacted for a response, Waqatairewa declined to comment on the situation. The Party recently conducted its Annual General Assembly in Lautoka. More updates will follow.
