Labasa has ascended to the top of the Digicel Fiji Premier League standings after a come-from-behind victory against Nadroga in their Round 11 match at Subrail Park today.
Strengthened by Solomon Islanders Tigi Molea and Fordney Junior, the Babasiga Lions entered the match as favorites.
Nadroga took a 1-0 lead at halftime with a goal from Stewart Toata.
Veteran striker Christopher Wasasala equalized from the penalty spot midway through the second half, and Fordney Junior scored the winning goal in the final moments of the match.
Labasa, sponsored by Extra Supermarket, now has 24 points, one point ahead of Extra Rewa, who will face Suva tomorrow.
