The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have welcomed Flying Fijians and former Racing 92 center Inia Tabuavou. The Natabua High School alumnus has signed a two-year contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons after noteworthy performances in France’s Top 14 competition. His robust performances in attack and defense earned him a call-up to the Flying Fijians earlier this year. He played at inside center against Georgia and the All Blacks.
“It feels good to be home, especially with the Drua family. I’m really looking forward to trying out the new environment, especially the team culture and the type of rugby they play,” commented Tabuavou.
Tabuavou will begin his stint with the Drua after completing the 2024 Flying Fijians Test commitments.
